Tom, Thank you for the best tour I have ever been on! So many special events and sights that can be appreciated only by a tour guide like you. Thank you for the times you sang Raglan Way/Enchanted Way. A friend showed me how to find that song on YouTube and I heard others sing it but none could sing it as well as you!
I'm still on a Irish "high". Yesterday I went to McGinty's Pub in Silver Spring, MD for a special benefit concert with a variety of different musicians singing Irish and English pub "sailor" songs and it reminded me so much of the times we all sang together with you and Jerry on the Magical, Mystical, Musical tour.

Like Roxanne, I am telling all my friends about your tours, particularly those who are members of the Folklore Society of Greater Washington (D.C.) (FSGW) If any of you get the Washington D.C. area check out the FSGW web site www.fsgw.org for some fantastic concerts, dances, storytelling, retreats, etc. Also if you know of anyone who is in Washington D.C. June 24 - July 6 the Smithsonian's Annual Folk Life Festival (free) will celebrate Whales, Music in Latin American Culture and Power of Words in African American Culture in huge tents on the mall and wonderful exhibits under shade trees. www:festival.si.edu/2009 I go every year and enjoy it very much!
Joyce
P.S. Let me know when you are in the greater Washington D.C. metropolitian area. I wish all my friends could meet you!

Double WOW! I have traveled to almost every country in Europe and all the United States but this was without doubt my best trip. Thanks to all for the warm welcome to my crazy brood. It's a trip they will never forget or top. I am spreading the word that Tom Pigott is the ONLY tour director to go to Ireland with. I just downloaded my pictures and put them on my digital photo frame ( I think that's what you call it) so I can see them revolve all day. Thank you Tom, Paddy and all. See you on the next trip

Wow,Tom, that was quick work!

I haven't stopped smiling yet. What a tour that was! Thanks to you and Paddy for showing us such a good time. Every day I thought to myself, OK, THIS is my favorite place that we've been so far, but I agree with you that Day 8 was really special. The trip around the Aran Island in a horse-drawn cart with our wonderful driver, Martin, was very nice, and the evening in the pub with Geraldine was sensational. I think everyone's favorite moment was when she stopped in the middle of a song to kiss her granddaughter goodnight. Or maybe it was seeing our friend, Gerry, singing his heart out in an Irish pub. It was all magical and mystical and mysterious. And what fun making so many new friends, both Irish and American. Thank you so very much. Love, Ingrid
